fireman2004, Come over to tampa and get some biofuel. The plant is called Aztech energy corp. . My mileage went up about 3 mpg. and runs a lot quiter. I'm running B99 in the truck and have had know problems, Plus at 3.39 a gal. it's cheeper the diesel.
PM me if you would like to know how to get there.

3" (or bigger) downpipe. the factory one has been named the "cobra's head"....its squished flat to fit easier at the factory. when i put mine in i saw a 2mpg increase, i dont know what others have seen, but its definatly worth it considering the price of the pipe.

My '96 F250 gets 11-12 mpg. I have a 3" downpipe with 4" straight exhaust. I also have a superchips programmer, but it doesn't do anything for mileage for me. I feel you pain with the mileage and fuel prices. I am paying 3.87 here in Cheyenne, Wy. I hope you can get your mileage up better than me.

I drive like an old lady. I drive at about 70 Mph and hardly ever mash the go pedal. The majority of my driving is Interstate about 20 miles to work. I have stopped pulling my hair hair out about it, because no matter what I do or how I drive, it doesn't change. I have changed filters, replaced brakes, bearings, cleaned the filter in the FPS (I think thats what it is) next to the fuel bowl, glow plugs and wiring harness. The next thing is going to be the oil seals on the injectors. I am only using it for pulling horse and camper trailers now, because I cant afford the fuel.

I have the stock 3.55 (I think, they may be 3.73) with a floating diff. I guess thats what its called, it is not a limited slip. I hate the thing, because I get stuck in 6" of snow. That is definately an upgrade I need to do. All it takes is money and time, which I have neither of right now. I have been forced to drive a su-suckie Vitara to try and save money on fuel. POOOOR Pitifall me.
