found problem but need help diagnose GLOW PLUGS PROBLEM

well I know posting alot about this problem but codes are glow plugs I clear them and they come back the codes say glow plug circut on 2and 4 so replace relay or the glow plug them self and how hard are they to do on a 7.3 never done them before on a powerstroke !!! thanks u guys are alot of help

Sounds like you have a California truck if it is reporting glow plugs. Are your codes PO672 and PO674?

yes I do have a Cali title so what's up how do I fix of

Short answer, #2 and #4 glow plugs are being reported a bad. Only a cali truck will the PCM even see a problem with the glow plug circuit. Where we have a simple relay you have a module that does the same thing as the relay but reports each individual glow plug that does not draw at least 20 amps. A new glow plug will draw at minimum 20 amps. Not so simple of a diagnosis for the other 49 state trucks. Your lucky on this one.
