my point, along w/ the others that have posted, is that
unless the battery is properly load tested you wont know the
REAL condition of the batteries.

did they disconnect the batteries when they load tested it so
they could determine the condition of EACH battery independantly
of the other ?

how did they determine ONE battery needed a "little" charge...

good lord...well at least they were tested right.

im wondering....did you ever resolve the airbag light & cruise control issues ?
starting to wonder if you dont have some clock spring or steering
column wiring issues...

Besides those issues, this problem started with the AC goin to Defrost mode- broken vacuum line to the hub, fixed it then 2 days later pump stopped working played with fuses found nothing and it started working again, then it died again and i started switching 10A fuses to try to trouble shoot, and somehow its working again but now i have these other issues

just seems STRANGE...the OD light is flashing...and no turn signals...
the TWO arent generally related...other than being in a steering
column.

and whats even stranger is that you say the overdrive / tow haul is
working fine.

if the tranny wasnt working well then id say its time to scan for codes
but i dont think their is anything more than an electrical issue (since the
OD is shifting fine).

do you have climate controls in the steering wheel too by chance ?

i dont think the vac. pump is related...probably just a coincidence that
its going out....unless theres a common wiring problem (that is if all
these wires are in the same loom & shorting it might explain things...)

I see what your saying i just associate it because of the AC problem from the start. I dont have climate on the wheel but the cruise is on there.

Hers list of problems

old problems air bag light and no cruise
new problems OD light flashing
AC clutch wont engage
No turn signals
ABS light is on

Is the steering wheel hard to take off to check the clock spring?
