I've smoked Camels since the 1950s and though I've attempted to quit on numerous occasions, wanting to light up every 5 minutes during those periods, I've always failed.

On February 8th I attended a tobacco cessation seminar which contained up to date scientific causative info relative to the difficulty in kicking the habit and armed me with dietary considerations and mental strategies with which I could successfully stop smoking. The seminar concluded with a 45 minute hypnosis session which planted subliminal messages to combat all urges to light up.

I'm now cold turkey without even a fleeting desire to smoke and I have not experienced even one second of discomfort. Furthermore, my wife quit two years ago but has been on the nicotine chewing gum. Today, she gave up the gum after telling me it was my smoking around her that was hampering her complete abstinence.

I'm a happy man and I highly recommend this course for any of you who truly want to kick the habit but experience repeated failures in quitting.:thumbs

Thanks....I've tried the will power ditty a number of times but have come up waaaaay short. This is a cakewalk requiring zero will power. Wish I could take the credit, and sure hope my announcement wasn't premature. 28 days tobacco free and I'm supposed to be able to pat myself on the back permanently.

Suggest the hypnosis dealio to her. It works!

Congrat!! That is a huge personal success. This May will be 3 years w/ snuff ,after 11 years of dipping, for me. Once I decided to do it and got the old Nicorette gum it wasn't too bad. I've had a few dips w/ the guys since and never once thought about starting up again. It usually made me feel sick and reminded why I quit. Good luck man.

Congrats Sam, I quit 6 years ago, cold turkey, and it was tough. One of the best things you can do.
