hey guys i found a motor out of a 99 f-550 and i got the intake spyder off of it and noticed that the inlet off of the turbo to the spyder is much larger than my turbo. what if any performance gains would i get if i got the turbo off of that truck and transplanted on to my truck there would be. any information would be greatly appreciated.

thanks guys:thumbs :hail

in order to put that turbo on your truck you need the exhaust manifolds and up pipes.i dont think the manifolds will fit and clear our frames.i dont think the 99-up superduty manifolds fit our trucks either.there wont be much of a performance gain as its the same turbo as a stock 99-upSD.

no performance gain other than building boost lower due to a wastegated exhaust housing w/a lower a/r on a stock truck and unless it's an early '99 you're going to have different diameter air intakes making the intake sypder worthless unelss you plan to change the intakes and w/ a 95 you're more than likely lacking a bolt hole for the intakes in your heads.
