First of all, doesn't the X have a speed limiter @ about 90 mph?
I can't believe the cops are being blamed for this idiot's bad decision to run from the cops with her baby in the car. It sounds like they tried a lot of tricks to stop her that didn't work.
Why do people not take responsibility for their actions. Why would anyone support what she did and blame the cops for her child's death??????

The SUV was like a newish Escalade. Alvarado is local just a county over from us.

Our jaws dropped when it first hit the news,we're still without words on the loss of the young innocent life :(

SUV was a Chrysler Aspen. Looks to be the same as Dodge Durango, just a different badge.

And, yes, she's an idiot and has everything coming to her. -mad Toxicology report isn't due back for a couple of weeks. At this time, they don't know why she was running. (outside of being stupid)

Interview with the ex-husband last night said she was a good person and good mother, but had a serious problem with bi-polar. He said when she "flipped" she was like another person. He said when she "comes to" she will be devastated to hear what had happened and what she had done.
DPS Troopers said she was rambling when they arrested her, making statements that weren't relevant or just didn't make sense.
