1. Racor system: An improved, aftermarket Crank Case Ventilation (CCV) system that prevents Oil vapors from condensing into drops .. going thru the turbo, and collecting in the Inter Cooler pipes & Cooler.

2. A ARB EO equipped programmer: No Clue. (anyone else ?)

3. Cold air intake heater: Ford calls it.. an Air Intake Heater (AIH). A restrictive thing located in the Y pipe that is supposed to Heat the Intake air, during warm-ups. Many 7.3 guyz have Deleted it. I did.

Hope this helped some ?

i think that you mean the CARB EO sticker. its the cali-no-gun-for-you air board Executive Order sticker that aftermarket manufacturer's get for parts that do NOT compromise or tamper with emissions so show compliance with their laws.

sounds like they did not like the CCV mod dumping into the exhaust stream.

EDIT: they are tagging whom ever for a programmer that does not comply with emissions standards- ie an 'off road program' that increases horsepower and in effect increases emissions. if the programmer comes with the sticker, its not altering or increasing the emissions. yeah right, good luck on that one.

the AIH is on the y-pipe before the turbo. look in the wiki for the delete info and pics of its location.

if you don't recognize it, i am guessing that you probably did not delete it.

whoever is telling you all this is full of crap. My truck did not come with a cat, and there is no way in hell im putting one on there.

As for the CCV...just reroute it back into the intake for inspection and then undo it.

For the tuner...put it back to stock when its inspected :dunno

And I agree with DP...youll see it screwed directly into the Y Pipe with 2 wires going into it....1 from the GPR and another to the engine block that is a ground. If you get hell for it, just pop it back in and hook it up.

jourdan- the california trucks had cat's before the rest of us.

if his has a california emissions sticker on the truck, it may be graded on a different scale.

remember, emissions stuff is federal, not state. tampering with the emissions components is prohibited regardless of the state

Ok when I say my truck didn't come with a cat I ment when I bought it but I got it used, the exhuast on it looks factory but how would I find out if it came factory with it and the company I bought from don't have records showing exhuast work other than the muffler being cut off, I do know it was sold from the dealer in oklahoma. New in late 99

bears- is there a sticker on the drivers door jamb that says anything about CARB compliant or California emmisions? read it carefully. it may even say that this truck is NOT CARB complaint or was not meant to be in a goofy way. kinda like the ambulance package sticker.

my 2000 did NOT have a cat on it and i KNOW that it did not have one.

EDIT: iirc, it was late 2002 or 2003 when they put the cat's on the 7.3. somewhere out there i know is a web page that chronicles it. it might have coincided with the powdered metal rods?

as far as mufflers go, the Walker BTM is a straight pipe glass pack and counts! DAMHIKT
