Door Seal Mod

I did the door seal mod this weekend and am pretty pleased with the results.

I have reduced road noise now but the drivers door is a little harder to close. Hopfully it will settle in.

nicely documented.

thats some SERIOUS soap-ing I just mixed up a bowl w/ dish soap &
water and pulled the poly tubing thru it as i fished the tube thru.

hardest part, as you say is that some doors are tighter than others...and
FRIENDS and family have a tough time getting the door shut on the 1st
try....it helps if you crack a window if someone is having a hard time getting
the door shut.

next mod, for you hushmat (cheaper version of dynamat that requires
less prep to install) on your doors, roof & floor

yeah thats part of the problem...some doors sealed better (from the factory)
than others...but NONE were TIGHT enough to seal out noise.

This reminds me to finish my door seal project. I've only done the driver's door so far.

Same here. All the other doors shut fine, but the drivers doors requires a little extra "push".
