Put a little oil/wd-40 on the rubber gromets that hold the box down then pull it up!

Just got mine done today. I have some pics but can only download them on my wifes computer upstairs. I just used a striaght 4" pipe at 3" lenght.

At first I thought I might need to get some sort of angle like Hillbilly But then I thought about it and I think it gets better airflow the way it is as it is not flush against the bottom of that pad. It is kinda on a angle like hillbilly's but a tad bit more. I was able to turn the flexible pipe around and it fits.

Only problem is I wonder about the seal. Like I said it is a bit on the angle but the seal appears good to me. I got the clamp on there pretty tight so I think I'm good. I would rather know I'm good though.

Where did you get that coupler Hillbilly?

Ouch for vegas on that price of the filter. Next time order your replacement from Fleet filter. It was only 28 with shipping.

Ohh by the way man is the turbo Whistle awesome now. It really has A super High pitch scream around 10 + PSI

The seal shouldn't be a problem after a week try to pull them apart! This is the second filter on mine and when I tried to replace it I was very apt to loose my religon as I tried to get them apart the seal from the 4" 90 to my air filter was so tight I cut the end of the old one open to pound it out.
