Mag-Hytec Dip Stick ?

:dunno Ive found it handy having it. :dunno

I'm one to fret about things as I go down the Highway @ 18.8K GCVW... I've never had to add any Dif Lube.. But it's a warm'n fuzzy, knowing that, cuz my Dif Dip Stick showed me that, before I left home.;):);tu

Had it on for 2 years now.. prolly checked it 6-8 times.

Handy pre-trip or PM check out item/tool. IMO

fwiw pulling the fill plug isnt that much more difficult (all it takes is
a 3/8" ratchet (no socket needed)

Agreed BP. But I'd rather pull the stick than pull the plug. Dang thing was pricey. But I like the 8 qts of lube, added cooling capability ( running dif temps are 'bout 30* cooler)........ AND..... It Looks Good, under there.;);tu

is it Royal Purple that youre buying ?
that would be the way to go if you could if you could find somone
else that was interested in serving their front & rear diffs (not quite 7quarts
per truck)

It's not Royal Purple, not sure of the brand any more, I buy it our local truck parts store, formerly a Carquest, now independent. I can also get it through my Chevron Lubricants dealer. I just use it up myself, I maintain enough pickups to use up a 5 gallon bucket in a reasonable period. A few F150's, a 250 and a 350. Gotta have something to keep the service bay in my shop busy....
