i think its just the srpings which means more payload pretty much. i have used both f250s and f350s for work and both have pulled the same heavy trailers with no difference in performance.
Well, my Ram3500 died on me w/ only 99,000 miles so Ive switched to a Ford. They had some 07 F250 for $2k back of invoice, I couldnt resist. I run an in bed wheel lift for towing cars and was concerned w/ sagging and controlability while towing. I am moving up to a larger rear sway bar and running Firestone Ride-Rite bags.
I guess I was wondering if I could swap in some rears springs from an F350SRW and just bolt them in and gain an advantage?
i was just about to suggest bags for the tow rig. i dont have them on mine, but a friend of mine owns a paving stone company and has them on his truck since he pulls trailers none stop all over-just loves them.
Thanks guys, Im heading to the junkyard to check it out. They have a wrecked 06 F350SRW. Im gonna compare and if they're beefier, they're coming home with me. I'll let yall know.
No difference in the rear springs 250 has 1 7/8" block 350 has 3 3/4" block. The only other difference is the rear 250 10.25" ring gear 350 is 10.50". Those are the only major differencebetween the two everything else is pacage options as in FX4,towing,snowplow prep, etc, etc, etc.
