Difference of F250 vs F350SRW

Thed only real difference is the rear block height. Just about everything else between 250s and 350s SRW trucks is the same. The front (Dana 50 or 60) and rear axles (Sterling 10.5") are the same throughout SRW trucks so there is no difference in ring gear size for the 99-current trucks. DRW trucks springs are different but may offer only a marginal increase. If you runa set of air bags that would be the better option to use.

If you're going to go to the trouble of changing the springs, get the springs from a 350 dually. They are the same size and will swap right in, and they should provide better support.

on my 2500, the previous owner added 2 leafs on each side, and I see there is helper spring ply also installed. My truck is as stiff as a 350 and i find the drive not so bad when empty

Thanks guys, I went with some bolt on units-Helwig LP35 four leaf constant rate helper springs. These work very well, they elliminate the overload spring, but with these, you dont need it anymore.
