Difference between 99 and 99.5?

It's official...my truck has no EBPV. I just found the plug tucked in with a factory-style cap on the end. I also saw that my filter housing says remanufactured and the turbo compressor looks semi-new... is there any way I can find a turbo ID picture to find out which turbo I have?

Sounds to me like your truck was ordered with the "cold weather delete option". It was an option available when the 99 Superdutites first came out. The option was eliminated fairly early on and hasn't been available for years.
