All this talk about urea injection. What is the engineering department's strange facination with urine?

The 267-hp V-8 develops 472 pounds-feet of torque
The British market Range Rover gets 25 mpg.

Just right :sweet Our F150 is a year old now and will be ready for a replacement in two years. I think I could handle 25mpg considering our current F150 gets about 14 :( on a good day.

we'll be pretty close by the end of 2008

Perfect timing :sweet

uera injection is not new- Mercedes already does it on some of its sedans. Imagine telling a MB owner that their urea caninster needs a refill.

Urea on a pickup is fodder for the Blue Collar comedy guys.

Makes you wonder what has gone on with Navistar and FMC is going with a Rover motor. Some people on the rover boards are converting their Rovers to use the 2.8 Powerstroke. The 2.8 would be great in a Ranger.

sounds bastardized to me... a Peugeot engine developed for Rover with a hickerbillied-on emission system?

Recipe for disaster if you ask me... do the words "American Motors" ring any bells?
