I installed one of the Boost pressure releif valves on friday, and the SES light still comes on when the boost hits 25 psi. by time the guage hits 27 psi it is defeuling and it drops and holds @ 25 psi.

IT does it in every gear, but OD. once in OD I can get 30 psi, but the SES light still comes on it does not drop boost in OD.

First thing I checked to make sure the clown who installed it did so correctly. ;)

Who's BPRV? You may try spraying some WD40 on it. Some of them tend to stick sometimes, but that's usually when it's cold.

If it's the 1211 ICP code boost won't drop like a rock.

dieselsite.com. I thought it might have been sticking and it said in the directions to use some wd40 on it. I had already tried that as well.

Is it the BRV+? If it is, have you tried connecting your gauge to the MAP side and see what it's reading?
