Should be able to re-use that oil, I would think. I'm going to strain and drain back into original jugs. I havent had this yet, but if it goes well I can see another one getting fried for Christmas. Maybe fish fry, clambake and corn on the cob w/ water, alot of things. I love to cook outdoors, this thing opens up alot of possibilities.
