Howdy All,
Anyone who likes classic country thru todays stuff try listening to 1190 am here in D/FW. I have been happy with the wide selection of music and grown tired of other counrty stations playing the same 10 songs all day long. They are also on the net at www.cowboy1190.com.
Enjoy,
Craig

Craig, I occasionally listen to that station. It's a good one, because I also like the older stuff. I found another one last night that plays classic country. It's 92.1 FM. They have George Jones doing the station id by saying, "This is George Jones, and you're listening to 92.1 - The Possum".
I also listen to 99.5 The Wolf, but I do get tired of their limited playlist. Sometimes I hear the same song three or four times in the day. However, they do play some older stuff, like Patsy Cline's "Crazy" and Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" and "I Walk The Line". In addition, 96.3 KSCS has "Classic Country Saturday Night" from 7 PM to Midnight every Satruday night and you can call in and request your "favorites". On that show, the DJ "The Trooper" will have a "feature" artist, and will also will play number ones from various times. Sometimes he'll say that "this song was #1 on this day in 1985" or something like that, then will play a Conway Twitty, Ronnie Milsap, or Charlie Pride song, etc.

Hey Wayne,
I will check out 92.1. The Wolf and KSCS drive me nuts with the same ol' stuff. I was surprised to see you say that actually played some Patsy Cline. I will listen to KSCS on Sat. night for the classic country.

How about those kids, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Patsy Cline, Nelson Eddy? I don't like the modern type of music like the Beatles.
:D
