You can search for a ball joint thread and follow that. I thought there was a tech article in the wiki section.
If the Ferd book was smaller. I would toss it in the scanner and send you the spec.

No Im going to help my buddy out, it turns out his tire was hitting the mudflap when he turned it was half falling off making a bad noise i figured it was u-joint. but while diag. that noticed his balljoints are shot so its coming apart anyways
when you got the wheel cut all the way and look where the axle goes into the tube there is a black seal there that isnt really sealing. you can move it around and look in and see the axle shaft a little. is this normal it is like that on both sides....
