In the last two weeks (oddly, warm thursdays...) My truck hasn't wanted to start at work. No tach reading when cranking.
After 10min wait, Bertha fires up again. So I'm thinking, CPS eminent failure, correct?
Just took the old CPS off...what a b*tch. I have dual alternators, but that wasn't really the issue. Ended up taking off the upper idler pulley.
Then the metal part broke off . Twenty minutes later with every prying implement in my arsenal , the business end finally popped off , so I'm taking a break for supper, then gonna button her all up!
At least it won't be a four-day ordeal, like my broken water pump bolt last month
