coolant???

Guess the other think you should do is test the coolant too, to confirm
that its providing enough protection.

did you touch the "frozen" puddle ? was it slippery like antifreeze ?
did it smell sweet (like antifreeze?)

umm, no bush, i did not touch it to check it's consistancy. never ever would have thought of that. you know the old addage: if it looks like dog s__t it must me dog s__t......

don't know if i can go do it now. we got 2" snow and i plowed the driveway.

and yes, i was wondering if i should pop down to the local parts store for some type of coolant tester....

i also have not noticed any loose in coolant in the container. being it is all of 17 gallons...
