Just changed the first filter out on my coolant filter. Cut the filter open and was surprised at how much junk was inside. I was surprised at how much there was because I installed the filter when I did the coolant drain and flush. Glad to see the filter paying for itself right off the bat.

Took me 3-4 changes before it went to what I would call, Clean.

I opened them up also, and couldn't believe the crap it filtered out.

After it does it's initial job.. it sure is a good feeling, knowing the cooling system is clean.

Probably one of the most PM mods that can, and should be done.. to ANY vehicle. I put one on our 99 Windstar too. Same thing: 3-4 filter changes to clean it up.

I have 2 more months before it is time for my filter change. Was funny because I put the system on to help save the water pump and not but a week later water decided it was going to lay down so I had to put a new one on. So now I have a new pump, filter system and coolant. Kind of curious to see what still comes out
