Consider this tranny configuration

You sure about that? I thought I asked him and he said to flush the lines but the cooler was probably OK. I know that Ford makes you change the cooler or no warranty.

I did. When it crapped out, I didn't want to ditch the 6.0 so I had it flushed throughly.

Yep, very sure. But that might have been in part to the factory 7.3's having the mini-cooler. He (Brian) would normally put in a larger V-8/10 cooler when he changed them out. But I think now he's putting in 6.0 coolers since they became available.
