Got some new pics on the X Project.Tired of seeing the topside creeper, too much strain for a 45 year old fat man.The biggest time eater was the relocation/wraping with cool it insulation some wiring, relocating solenoid & fabing up the bracket, moving glo controler & fabing bracket, moving fuel regulator & lines did I mention fab up another bracket, move the terminator popoff line to the top of the resoir instead of oil filler neck where it was.Got the air cleaner setup to get a elbo & piping to hook it up,got to fab the big turbo drain, hook up down pipe,do a 1" or 1 1/2" body lift. Now if I could get my ATS flex plate I could be testing her out.
Still need some traction bars, might get Elmos when he comes.
He'll never notise.

It is a custom HX55 with a 97mm wheel & a 22 exhaust housing. My origional setup was a S400 custom but could'nt find enough room for a large frame turbo with the evap & heater still intact.Still working on it,the Hx 55 is the largest medium frame made. This set up will be for sale when the S400 is finished.:D

And how did you get all of that stuff under the hood. Does it close? Nice job of making all of it fit. Takes time to do a nice job.

Hood,what hood:roflmao
Just kidding the hood is not the problem,on the X's the body sits lower than the F's found this out when I was running the GT42R turbo. The problem is clearence on the cowl area which is why I need some body lift which I did not see any yet for a X.I will have to make something unless someone saw one somewhere.:thumbs
As far as fit I spent days moving stuff around but wanted it Right the first time.Every bracket that I made was a modified bracket that was already there, did'nt buy any more other than 2 bolts.Wanted to waste nothing if possible, pretty big challange & creative thinking!
Hopefully now.:burnit :burnit :burnit
