I will say, she did run much better last night and this morning than she has since i bouhgt her.
they didnt reflash the puter. maybe the thought of surgery scared her into behaving better:D :D :D
Actually I am now 100% convinced the fuel is the major culprit.
I always buy it at one location, did get a batch with water in a while back.
but on Tuesday my wife filled it up (30 plus gallons) at... dare i say... Murphy(walmart),
and i didnt get to drive the truck until last night, there is a profound difference and the fuel is the only variable.

If this continues, you may want to PM ford_doctor, I remember him commenting on the other forum about a developing HPOP problem that only shows when it is cold. From what I gathered, it causes the pump to not build pressure or to build it very slowly; no pressure to the injectors, no start.

i am going to try this evening to let her sit till sunday.
see if she fires right up, if not she goes to see mr. truck doc

she ran super this morning 25-33F here going down the mountain and through the woods to work.
one dead deer on the side of the road. she was laying there like she was taking a nap.
I felt bad, someone hit her and just left her there.
wildlife folks here on the arsenal came by to pick here up
couldnt been over 65 lbs
