Changing oil in front and rear diff's.

Hello,I was wondering if I can use 75w-90 gear oilin the rear diff. or do I have to use 75w-140? Thx in advance to all replies

NO ! use whats called for...they call for the heavier weight SYNTHETIC
for a reason !

royal purple makes a good 80w140 its 9.99 per quart at pep-boys and
it already includes the friction modifier (for limited slip).

youll need a bit more than 3 quarts.

dont use anything LESS than what they tell you.
youd be safe w/ the 80w140 royal purple
