CFM plus for the 7.3l

What is any ones thought on the new CFM plus intake for the 7.3l? Is it just a pretty dressed up "toy" that serves little purpose, or is it a plus on the 7.3l's system? Price wise what does any one think about it? Just wanting comments, please be nice.

i don't think it will do much for a stock truck- look at the intake plenums after the y-pipe.

We had a discussion about this a few weeks ago. Try doing a search. Most people agreed it was just an overpriced dress-up item with no real benifits.

Thanks, that was kind of what I was thinking. It's pretty and all but it does the same thing of the OEM one. If I spent THOUSANDS on my truck for show then I might do it, but other wise I think I will pass for my 7.3l and spend my money more wisely.

Been talking with David Lott about this product. Waiting for him to get some in and start to see what the benefit's are. He said you will be suprised. So when I see it and learn a little more I post it up.
