CCV Mod

Hey guys been getting some time to work on the truck and improve some areas that needed improving. Just got done with the HX cross over hose. Had to pull one of the IC tubes off and it was covered in oil mixed with dirt. Not liking this at all.

With the CCV Mod how much oil comes out of the tube that comes from the crank case vent? I would like to install it but don't want to have little oil stains in the driveway were I park. Thanks

My CCV hose outlet only has a slight amount of oil on it. Shouldn't leave a puddle unless you let the truck sit and run for a long period of time in one spot.

Thanks for the reply I have been looking at the mod and trying to figure out were I can install a filter.

Could always put a catch can you can easily get to and drain from time to time.

On my 6.0, I mounted the catch-can to the frame, just under the driver's side door.

I bought mine from a member at another site.

I will try and put up some pics.

It's pretty straight forward.
