JLD-
now you are thinking! that is the way to get around! we should have talked about that!
what you are proposing is blending WVO and diesel, its not recommended. its not B-anything. consider how many WVO guys worry about cross contaminating the fuel and WVO. then think how many days of our climate are below 40 degrees...the temo where most of the WVO starts to get thick.
the SIMPLEST WVO setup is putting a tank selector valve before the fuel pump and tap the heater lines to heat the WVO tank. hardest thing is coming up with the tank. i have seen a couple of greasel units that did it this way. its frighteningly simple.
now THAT's what I was talking about.
I already got told by the manager of the restaraunt that he sells his grease to a re-processor, and they provide him with a collection setup...
I found a guy not far from here that sells WVO he collects in 55 gallon barrels, but he's charging $150. per drum, which is darn near the pump price for D2!
soooo...... back to square 1...
I can get tanks from TSC, and was thinking about buying like 175 gallons at a time B99 from Grant BioFuel, but that's like an hour away...
