This is why I asked you a few threads back if they pulled your cab when your truck was apart. Ford techs I'm friendly with say taking the cab off is way quicker and easier for head work, etc.

The ford tech at the dealer does not like to do cab offs. He told me that he could have the engine out in about the same time as a cab-off, again, this is what he told me, I have no way to verify it other than his word.

I specifically didnt want my cab lifted. I have a bunch of wires and stuff like that for lights, train horns, etc. I am very please with the work that was done to my truck and its running awesome.

if my memory serves correct, i thought the 08 was built w/ quick dis-connects for cab off maintenance....nice slide show. got fotos of my own but not in slide show format..

OK... here is the whole story..

When JV was just a young single lad he was stationed at (banished to?) Minot.. Well.. Spousal Unit & I were driving US-2 on walk-about that fall and knowing how down JV was, we toted a case of Yuengling Long Necks out to Minot..

Fast forward to Cheyenne.. some how UTZ came up.. so I figures I can pack a bunch of UTZ & eat my way across to Cheyenne.. whatever is left is for JV..

I figured that if I served Yuengling & UTZ when Rampy visited the Camp Ground then Rampy would forever be grateful to JV & Sandman for letting him partake in the the best of the best..
