Big Oil Leak

as I understand, you have to pull the motor to get to the pan. Am I wrong? Can you do it without? I just dropped a load on my issues, I hate to think what a new oil pan might run. Glad you got it all done.

If you want to replace the pan, yes, pulling the engine is required. For now, they are trying to patch it so I don't have to do that....

So far, so good. Got about 400 miles on it since repairs were done, no leaks yet.

Tomorrow I go on a 500 mile trip, should be a good test.

Thankfully, he warrants his work for 6mo or 6000 miles, so if it springs a leak before then, it'll be OK....
