dirk im going to see if they would do mine on a saturday morning in branford.

just a bit of info: hurry up and get the cruise recall done after you get your letter, if your truck lights up and burns to the ground after you got the letter, they wont be paying a single penny for it.

They checked my switch and they found it was dirty from a mixture of dirt and brake fluid. They declared it was leaking and replaced it with a new one and a wire connector for the new one that hooked up into the old pigtail

Took mine by the dealer last week, they didn't even check it. They just installed the new harness tie-wrapped it out from under the master cylinder, checked the CPS and sent me on my way. Total time was less than 15 minutes. I have a buddy whose F250 burn to the ground a few months ago so I had been checking it every couple of weeks until the recall came. I tried to buy the bed and tailgate from his insurance company but they wanted the truck intact as they were going after Ford for full reimbursement.
