That thing is awsome. I do believe you are right though if you put more apples in there things should work out alot better.

added a set of rakes to the grinder head, and lubed the "bearings"

we only had a few apples, but i think if my brother would stop playing pocket pool and load the hopper with 2 hands it would have chewed right through them. if there is a few in the hopper it keeps them from spinning on the head, wich also keeps debris from flying out the top.
now its time to make the press
