by the looks of the video, it's got kind of a low output there, Bro...
I'm thinking yer gonna get kinda thirsty...

very low output :( , although i think the video doesnt show exactly how much falls through. once i put another row of staggered screws in to keep the apples disturbed it should be perfect. at the end of the video you can hear the apple gets settled on the roller and stops getting chewed by the inline screws

also i think with a full hopper it will grind better, one single apples is able to jump and dance a bit before being caught and sucked in. also a fulle hopper will be needed to keep the "shrapnel" from flying out the top. i think more comes out the top than the bottom when it first starts to catch. i made a big mess.

hose the rotor and the hopper both down with PAM or other cooking spray.. then see how much sticks..

the other thing you might wanna try is play with the speed & direction of rotation of the rotor.

:thumbs But it needs more horse power.:lmao:lmao

more power?! its running on 240v, 1 hp, 1750 rpm. i geared it down 50% so the head is spinning about 860rpm. way overkill i would think, but if its free its for me!

i suppose i could throw one of the race engine on there and see how it does......
