I miss my diesel when I'm not driving it but I fully realize that my 3 series is far more maneuverable in daily traffic and people do not pass me just because they can't see around me then slow down. Oh and not to mention 2X the mileage is a nice benefit too. When I get in the truck and start her up it's a great feeling to ease into the throttle and feel the abundance of low end torque.

I miss mine something terrible. I was looking at the last pics I took
of it Monday night (to use to sell it with) and I turned the lap top
towards my wife and said, "Look sweetie, ain't she pretty?"

I know it was the right thing to do, but I sure do miss my truck. :(

I miss mine every time I drive my wife's car or my dads Tahoe. I also find it a little embarrassing when I turn the key in my wife's car and put my seat belt on while waiting for the glow plug light to turn off and she asks me what I am waiting for.

I think my habitual heavy pulling as well as 240k on the clock just took their toll... this thing has pretty much had a trailer behind it from day one. I did have a Cat 420E loader backhoe on the trailer when it made some bad noise, probably only 36k gross. :D
I think the bolts have been coming out all summer because one day going down the highway empty it started banging bad... I stopped and checked it all out, then drove off and all was good.
I picked up a used dana 80 today with 4.30 gears, so I'm gonna regear the front and then be all set to pull... maybe I'll call it the Shorty Tow Boss then :lmao
