been several times w/ my boys...we "worked" (JrROTC) last saturdays show
here in houston...we were however too exhausted to hang around
and watch the entire show.
by all accounts (standing room only) its STILL a very popular event
(in houston)
the events are quality entertainment (and the people watching isnt
too bad either)...take some hearing protection <PLEASE> !

I have very fond memories of being 12 and going to see BIGFOOT #2 in Decatur, AL.
I have also gotten to see Samson & King Krunch when I was a kid.
It was merely exibition back then and not the sport it is today, but it was still cool to watch 'em crush some cars.
Bigfoot #5 I have seen on display down in Orlando, FL before, right on I-4.

I brought my son along on truck jocking job that started out in St. Louis. at the BigFoot shop. We have pictures of him standing in the wheel of #5. He wouldn't fit anymore but we still go to monster truck events. The best ones ever were at Dresser Wi. at an off road ralley held every year. It was out in a natural amphetheater where they could really let them go. They ran over trees and went up hill climbs and through mud bogs plus the normal car thing.

I grew up loving monster trucks, mainly Bigfoot. I have pictures when I was a kid and visiting the Bigfoot shop in St Louis. My uncle lived in St. Louis so was down there several times. Have pictures of the me under the orginal Bigfoot 5, the 79 Body style that sat in between the 10 ft. tires. I still enjoy watching monster trucks, boy are they different from back in the 80's! I also am into tractor pulling more now than monster trucks.

BF #5 is gone now it was sold to some guy there.
