I remember when my step dad worked for Pettigrew Smith Auto Parts ( now known as Car Quest) They had a monster truck that my step dad drove a couple of times.
Got to drive down Galveston Beach and played in the mud sometimes with it. It has been awhile since I have been to a show but still enjoy them.

Anyone ever go for a ride in one? 3-4 years ago at N.J. State Fair they had one there with seats in the back and would hold six people in bed. Racing seats and harnesses to hold you in, but believe it or not you didn't have to wear a helmet. I went for a ride with my daughter and it was fantastic. They actually had a staircase built so you could walk right in the back and not have to climb. Wasn't cheap, about $20 a head for the ride, but it was worth it. Not sure how they pulled it off insurance-wise. Haven't seen it before or since.
