Is there really any advantage to a turbo back aftermarket exhaust other than looks and sound? Do you see any REAL improvement in milage or power?

Lighter weight <and potentially better quality stainless materials> are
another benefit.

the MBRP system is Mandrel bent and NOT crimped like the factory down
pipe is...so smoother flow & less obstruction is a BIG benefit over stock.

you also have the option, w/ mbrp to drop the cat (replacing it w/ a
"test" pipe that preserves the factory plumbing....no cutting, welding
or splicing...the OE cat is not modified so its a simple bolt in/out set up)

the MBRP muffler is also less restrictive & lighter in weight....yet its
not obnoxious either...infact you cant really tell theres a free breathing
exhaust system under the truck...until your under full throttle acceleration

I guess milage and power would be my most important improvements I would be looking for. Any measureable gains or changes in that area?

So your sold on the cat delete pipe, is it hard to get the cat delete pipe on and off, need to have the cat on for state inspection. Would having the cat off set off codes on the computer. You know these computers keep trake of EVERYTHING !

The cat bolts in and out easily. My truck felt like it spooled up better at a start, milage increase was a little, and it looks/ sounds WAY better now. Definately worth the money spent.
