Accufab elbow tips?

I can't get my stock elbow off the intercooler boost tube. I've been pullin and tugging and it seems like the tube is about to break. How do you get this thing off of here?

Is the accufab the aftermarket intake elbow?

I'm assuming all the clamps have been removed and it still will not come off?

Take one more look, sounds like you may have missed one somewhere.

Take a pick of flathead and break the seal of the elbow and rubber hose. Kind of like what you have to do on radiator hoses.

intake elbow

when I installed my acufab I used some heat to get in on & off . It can be a bear to get on and. if it,s cold out it makes it worse

Been there, it's a *****, if you have the hard plastic tube over the stock elbow. The tube goes over a ridge on the stock elbow, that's why its so hard. I just pulled on each with a hand & twisted as I did it. If you are trying to do it with the elbow still screwed down? you may never get it off. Having the elbow detached gives you some wiggle room.

The accufab is just as much of a pain to get in the tube. It needs to go in far enough to lock in also. Plan on some bloody knuckles

Great, thats what I thought. As far as the bloody knuckles, already there and I haven't even gotten the stocker out of there. I'm gonna try the wifes blow dryer on there for a few minutes.
