ok i have a question, ive asked a while back but lost the post and cant find it, so my ac will kick on at idle but as soon as i accelerate, it will go off and then blow hot air again, i can get it to work again if i tap the clutch again at idle wala, so is there a way to fix it with out replacing the compressor:dunno

The compressor clutch has some removable shims that will buy you some more time on that compressor.

Turn key to on position......do not start.
Turn A/C switch to on.
Remove the bolt on the front of the clutch.
Turn key switch off.
Pull clutch......carefully.
Remove one shim.
Replace clutch.
Turn key to on position......do not start.
Turn A/C switch on.
Tighten bolt.
Give it a test drive.

Is there anything in the PCM programming that will shut off the AC under hard acceleration/ high power demand situations?

I've heard of this sort of thing on some some vehicles. I've experienced the described symptoms, but figured it was a PCM programing thing. :dunno

If there is no shims to remove, you may only need a clutch assembly only. The magnet may be week or a connection to the clutch. Try jumper wires to the clutch off the battery and if it still does the same then it is the magnet. Is your system charged properly? The low pressure switch may be kicking it off for low pressure.Just some thoughts of past troubles. Good luck.;tu
