I don't think you are going to notice the additional weight with those kind of numbers. I have been thinking about installing some Oak in our camper but the weight is much more critical when you are packing it all rather than pulling some of it. Your project has about convinced me to go ahead and do it but I might regret the weight :dunno I have a few boxes left over from when I put new flooring in the house a few years ago so it would not cost a dime. What you think about putting it in this?

its not real wood its a vinyl plank 6' x 36" and it sticks to itself
27 sq ft per box and a box weighs in at 35 lbs
it might actually be an even trade once i am done,
we pulled out the fireplace, the heavy arse sony tv, the fold out couch parts and mattress, plus a bunch more dead batteries and old magazines.

i do plan t go across the scales soon as i get it all put back together.
