sure does make the place look bigger, i like the oak ,
the new rvs have to much dark cherry and make you feel closed in.

Robert, your reflooring project looks great!!!! However, I've been trying to put some laminate flooring in my house, and getting rid of the carpet, and I'm ready to hire a "professional". Of course, when it comes to building projects, I'm pretty much "all thumbs" (I didn't inherit my dad's carpentry skills).

The new floor is great looking and easy to put down, I think I gained a few pounds on the axles, but the look is worth it.

Hitch Weight 1,870 lbs. (848 kg)
Axle Dry Weight 9,610 lbs. (4359 kg)
Unloaded Vehicle Weight 11,480 lbs. (5207 kg)
GVWR 13,870 lbs. (6291 kg)
Gross Cargo Capacity 2,390 lbs. (1084 kg)
I don't think you are going to notice the additional weight with those kind of numbers. I have been thinking about installing some Oak in our camper but the weight is much more critical when you are packing it all rather than pulling some of it. Your project has about convinced me to go ahead and do it but I might regret the weight :dunno I have a few boxes left over from when I put new flooring in the house a few years ago so it would not cost a dime. What you think about putting it in this?
