my glasses broke at the frame around the lense. my question is, can you soldier the frame back together and if so, will just the general soldier from lowe's or any parts store work? or is there a special tupe that would work better?

BTW, my frames have been discontinued and are no longer available. its hard to drive when everything 3 feet in front of you is so BBBLLLUURREEDDD up.

i am near sighted and have a estigmatism

makin the call today to check into lazer corrective eye surgery. i have had it with glasses :cussing:

JB WELD ;)

I suspect if the glasses are "that old" it might be a good
time for an update/exam (its usually my sign to go get checked)

i got them in august of last year, so less than one year's use.

i have allready had to have new tempals put on after the right one broke too.

will the JB weld make them look really bad and noticable to everyone?

i thought about JB, but havent made it that far yet.

I second the JB WELD. Once it sets up, you should be able to file/sand it down, so it's nice and smooth, and no one will ever notice. Just use the smallest amount that you think will securely hold, make sure you rough up the surrounding area of the frame to provide a better bond, then sand/file off the excess. The more you put on, the more sanding it will take to make it not noticable.;)
