Well just came back from the test drive & blew the tubing off 2 times in 8 miles broke the clamps trying to tighten more.Well the ball buster does spool faster than the GT42 & pretty quiet (like that when you get older unless you are making 6000 horsepower).It deffinately has a lot of air moving when she gets going till the boots blow off,got a laugh made the neighbors Shi*.I use to only have 46 to 48 psi with the GT42 saw the guage peg 60 fast.Guess it's time for a bigger one.It's done for the weekend have to find a better boot & weld more flange on the end of the pipe.
UPDATE:Well stitched some welds at the end of the piping & went to a different type clamp & good so far.Now need to figure how to regulate some boost.My boost guage goes to 60 psi then another quater round is the peg next to 0 well it hits the peg at 3/4 throttle!Being that I don't know what it can take (the motor) I wanted to stay at 70psi & creep up on more boost as I go.For some reason I don't think they can handle more than 80 psi but I could be wrong.So far the highest EGT's I saw was 1600 but never ran it super hard yet,being it was apart for 4 months I want to ride. Tried hooking up the wastegate & it blows the hose off of it.
Also notised it has less smoke at low speeds.
