4x4 won't engage in cold

The vacuum hubs are not a maintenance free item. Pull em off, clean and regrease with a light oil. Replace the orings and check the vacuum lines going to the hubs.

A little care and they will work fine.

Are they a big issue to remove and clean? What is the best way to test the vac lines? Is it the hubs that engage first or the transfer case?

If the light comes on and you get 4x4 then vacuum is not the issue, neither
is maint of the hubs.

Is "COLD" the issue? Does anyone else experience this problem?
