If you looking at getting 33" tires you best option would be a 285 75 16. A 285 will have a diameter of 32.8" and they should clear just fine. I have a 2" lift and 315 75 16 tires that are 35" and they clear great as well.

On what sort of wheels are your tires mounted? Do you have any rubbing issues in the front when turning?

I have the same size tires on stock rims and they rub the springs when fully turned.

My brother-in-law is running 305/70R16 (33x12.5) on factory alloy rims on his 2003 SD with no problems.
