well i wish i coulda chimed in on this faster. haven't been on in awhile. Malone Diesel in Dripping Springs is a hit and miss thing. my step dad took his 1997 Dodge 12 valve in there to get the starter sylonoid fixed and after quite a bit of money spent the starter sylonoid was still messed up. i have heard that if it's not a powerstroke then you shouldn't take it to him. he is supposed to be good with powerstrokes though. i take my truck to Lloyd's automotive off of 150 outside of Dripping Springs. he does good work, although he isn't specialized in diesel, but i'm confident that he would get the job done.
