I need to release the beast under the hood currently I'm goverened to 96mph. I have a SCT livewire tuner from my 6.4 I just got rid of. Does anyone know where I can get a program to increase my top speed? I'm not looking to modify anything this time this is a lease so I don't want to put all kinds of stuff into her..

I see a couple things here.
First, why do you feel the need to go over 96mph? Are you taking it down the drag strip?
Second, the computer has software to track if someone's been in there with a tuner or anything like that. Could cause you some grief.

Well when I travel through west Texas and the speed limit is 85 then 96 is like cruising speed. Or if I just want to get away from idiots that ask asinine questions...

That was a little uncalled for.

As mentioned, Ford can see if you've tuned the computer. Which can screw up your warranty. And since you're leasing it I imagine they want the warranty intact.

e PSD's may have had a governor on them for years. Several years ago, when I had my 2002 F-250 7.3, I was rushing to the scene of my son's accident (he hit a pole with his new 2005 F-150 and ripped off the right suspension). There was a light rain with a good bit of traffic. I had the accelerator on the floor and was flashing my headlights at people to get them out of the way. The fastest it would go was between 95 and 100 (luckily I didn't slip and have an accident of my own). That was the fastest I ever drove it. Probably a good thing that it wouldn't go any faster.

I have to agree, In my opinion, a 8000+ lb .doesn't need to go more that 100mph. That is a lot of truck to get slowed back down if something bad happens. I've had mine there just a couple of times. If I want to go that fast, I'll just drive my P71..... it was built for that......
