For what it's worth, I have a Tiger CX (Class C Extreme) Motorhome built on a 2008 F-350 4x4 Extended cab w/ a 6.4 L Powerstroke with about 3300 miles on it. My gross is 10,280 lbs. and I am getting (according to the built-in computer) around 12.8 mpg. I usually run around 70 on the highway. I love the power and torque this thing has. I have raised a few eyebrows when people get passed up a steep grade my a motorhome. BTW, this ein't your daddy's motorhome. I spend a lotta time hunting and fishing and wanted something that can go near anywhere.

Bruce,

My mechanic is telling me that when I get around 20,000 miles on the rig I can expect an increase in mileage. Was that your experience?

It'll be alot quicker if you do some towing with that truck and work it.

I am currently getting 24 -27 mpg hwy. @ 70 mph. Trick is SCT LIVEWIRE, afe intake, dpf delete tunes from Sct oh and it runs high 13's low 14's @ the track I love my truck yea it has had its problems but overall Its just a FUN truck to drive. 08 F250 King Ranch. yada yada yada.....without a tuner these trucks are dogs. very slow and fuel guzzlers but properly tuned they run like a champ...

:)Thanks for the info. about to pull the trigger on dpf delete dn pipes back with module from H&S or SCT, however it looks like I might do almost as well with a tuner. I also plan on using CNG or Propane. Had not gave much thought to intake. have a 08 2500 diesel, 4x4,factory 18" wheels and tires, 3.55 rear end, AT, LG cab short box. First 4000 miles 11.2 mpg, now 12.9 to 13.1. really enjoy the truck, had a 240 benz, 85 chev 1/2 diesel (blew the engine on both, later had a 2500 chev conv. van with the bigger diesel, loved the van.
