While waiting for my truck to arrive from the factory, I went to the dealership and looked under the hood of a truck on the lot, to check out the downpipe from the turbo. From the turbo down to as far as I could see, the pipe was mandrel bent. It was raining so I did not want to get under the truck to see if it was smooth all the way to the cat. Maybe Ford is listening to our requests. ETA on my truck is May 1st. Time is dragging. Anyone have a 2006 built recently, that has checked out the downpipe? Maybe we do not need to replace it with an aftermarket pipe.
