Have a 2006 F350 Super Duty Auto 6.0L 4x4 with 43771 miles. And guess what, it is in the shop because it wouldn't start and I had to have it towed to a dealer. The dealer said they finally got the truck into the shop 1 1/2 days after it was towed to their lot. The service manager said the mechanic started the truck and drove it into the repair bay. He also said they are getting ICP codes on the computer. He said they still don't know for sure what caused it to not start but they have been working on it for 6 days now.
I hope the injector control pressure (ICP) problems are covered under the 5/100.000 powertrain warranty.
-----------------------------
Got the vehicle back today 1 1/2 weeks later and here is what they found:
ICP Pressure Low
Performed TSB 08-18-06
Removed right and left rocker cover and performed air leak test
removed turbo and intake manifold
inspect hp oilpump - found fitting blown out
replaced fitting and retested
found fitting blown out again
replaced fitting and retested
vehicle still hard to start
repreformed air test - found leak at # 7 injector area
removed high pressure oil rail and replaced injector
removed high pressure fuel rail and replaced rail - retested
all ok
Hope this helps anyone else who is having this problem.
